We are a non-franchise, local club, delivering world-class Shotokan karate under International pedigree.
With heritage from the keeper's of karate's traditions, the Japan Karate Association, we teach kids and adults confidence, respect, balance and fitness, and team-working. Learn a new skill and how to to defend yourself, whilst making life-long friends.
Our Story
Established as a professional club in 2018, but with foundations in Bristol since 2010, Bristol Karate Centre has helped many kids and adults build confidence, fitness and balance, in an uncertain world.
We have been successful taking students from novice to high rank, win medals at competitive tournaments or just reach life and fitness goals.
Training from a school setting at Westbury Park, we teach ages 5-7 as Tiny Titans, 8-12 years as Titans, and a Teens & Adults class.
We would love you to start your karate journey with us, or welcome you back if you are a returning student.
