Michael visits JKA SKT España - Sept-Oct 2023

JKA SKT España host Ogura Shihan, 8th Dan JKA Vice World Chief Instructor.

Michael visited Barcelona for 3 days of training with JKA World Vice Chief Instructor Ogura Shihan, 8th dan HQ Instructor, from Toyko.


Thanks to sensei Fernando Rivera Roman, 7th dan JKA for being an excellent host!

It was lovely to meet new friends and also see Martin Buchstaller, 6th Dan JKA in person, and also reconnect with some friends from England. Great too to train with Alberto Jimenez, 5th dan JKA, with whom I sat my 4th dan 5 years ago!

Barcelona was lovely and hot for late September, early October (29o) and is one of my favourite cities.
